Pearl Harbor - Aerial - During the Attack

Aerial (Japanese) view of Pearl Harbor and battleships during the attack.

In the foreground in the lower left corner of the photo - the battleship USS Nevada (heavily damaged).
The following ships are paired side by side:
Left- the repair ship USS Vestal (heavily damaged), Right- battleship USS Arizona (sunk);
Left- the battleship USS West Virginia, Right- battleship USS Tennessee (both damaged);
Left- the battleship USS Oklahoma (overturned), Right- the battleship USS Maryland (damaged).
Background, a single tanker Neosho (not damaged) and the right side of the photo, the battleship USS California (sunk).

From USS West Virginia you can see circles and an expanding wave from the explosion of Japanese torpedoes.

Far background is Hickam Field.
